Students learn entrepreneurship

Albany --  Area schools, businesses and Albany Community Together are all coming together to help educate and encourage Dougherty County High Schoolers about entrepreneurship.

The two-day Resource Fair and Business Plan Competition kicked off this This morning on the ASU campus, with all of the Dougherty County High Schools participating. The fair will feature discussions on how to access capital from the Small Business Administration, local banks, and other non-traditional sources. The students will all create and execute business plans in the competition, that organizers hope will inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.

The two-day fair is also a good resource for existing small business owners in the Albany area, and is part of Entrepreneurship Week USA, that is a week long nationwide effort to enhance entrepreneurship.
