Some seniors need help in order to remain reasonably independent in their own homes, but they do not need the 24-hour care provided in a nursing home.

Older adults who meet certain criteria are given a choice in deciding where they live and what assistance they need.

Services provided through SOWEGA Council on Aging include:

Skilled Nursing

Homemakers

Adult Day Rehabilitation

Alternative Living

Emergency Response
Emergency response equipment is available to at-risk older people who live alone. This service uses an in-home electronic support system which provides 24-hour-a-day monitoring.
