Toddlers take over Albany Museum of Art

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Museum of Art kicked off its Toddler Takeover on Tuesday.

The museum hosted the toddlers with their parents to start learning about the power of art at an early age.
Toddler Takeover is an event that allows parents to bring their 2 through 4-year-olds to the museum to participate in fun crafts that teach children about art.
Chloe Hinton, director of education and public programming at the museum, said that this is a fun way to get kids to love art early on.

"We run through the stuff that you naturally do with your toddler, being color, numbers and shapes. We look at art while we look for those things and we do art projects for whatever is going on in the art gallery," said Hinton.

The next Toddler Takeover will be on Tuesday, October 2.
