ALMA, GA - Coffee County drug agents arrested a Bacon County man Aug. 14 on drug charges after a high-speed chase.
According to the Coffee County Sheriff's Office, the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit tried to detain Devin Dante Grady, 32, during an investigation in the area of Mark Mobley Road.
The sheriff's office said Grady left the scene in his vehicle and agents pursued him. He eventually stopped at a residence on Bluebell Drive in Alma, got out of his vehicle and surrendered.
Drug agents recovered suspected methamphetamine from the floorboard of Grady's vehicle.
Grady was arrested at the scene and taken to the Coffee County Jail. He has been charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, probation violation, obstruction, reckless driving and fleeing/attempting to elude law enforcement.
