ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Friday was the last day for the Boys & Girls Club summer camp.
Over the length of this year's camp, more than 700 kids attended.
Albany Boys & Girls Club CEO Marvin Laster said the organization allows kids the opportunity to absorb the knowledge that they teach in the club.
He said the overall objective is to allow the kids the opportunity to maintain the knowledge they learned at school and the magic the program brings.
"The magic that happens at Boys & Girls Club is when we are able to merge the kids' needs to meet the kids' needs while we are incorporating their interest," said Laster.
The after-school program starts on August 6 and registration is open now.
