WORTH CO., GA (WALB) - The Worth County Sheriff's Office has arrested an out of state person driving a stolen car.
Inside the vehicle, deputies said they found $50,000.
On Tuesday, sheriff's officials stopped a vehicle on Highway 33 for driving nearly 100 miles per hour in a 55 mile an hour zone.
The car turned out to be stolen and the driver's license was suspended.
Deputies found the money while searching the car.
Sheriff's officials are not releasing the driver's name at this time but said he was charged with theft by receiving stolen property, suspended license and speeding.
The sheriff's office said this is an ongoing investigation.
