VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - A man has been charged with burglary in Valdosta Monday morning.
Valdosta Police detectives saw a suspicious man walking through bushes on the 1100 block of Alden Avenue.
According to the police report, detectives were talking to David Wayne Mayo, 54, when patrol officers were notified about a burglary in the area.
Property from the burglary was found on Mayo and he was transported to Valdosta Police Headquarters.
Mayo was arrested and charged with burglary, according to the police report.

Valdosta detectives are also investigating the possibility that Mayo may be involved in other burglaries in the area.
