THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - The City of Thomasville is launching a new video series aimed at providing information on a variety of city services, programs and initiatives.
"Did You Know…" will launch its first season July 13 and will feature familiar faces assisting with communicating the city's message.
"This campaign is designed to offer short, informative videos on a variety of topics, all designed to help communicate information quickly and concisely," said Sheryl Sealy, director of marketing, communications and events. "We've involved several members of 'Team Thomasville' to help us share information with our community about everything from the city's budget to recycling."
Sealy said a new video will be published on the city of Thomasville's Facebook page and website each Friday in July.
"The videos will also be added to our programming rotation on CNS local channel 6," Sealy said.
Sealy said the second season of "Did You Know…" is currently in production and will be released in September. In addition, the city of Thomasville is also accepting suggestions from citizens about topics to cover in future episodes.
"We have many future topics planned for this education series, but we are really interested in knowing what our community would like to suggest as well," Sealy said. "A form is available on the 'marketing and communication's section of Thomasville.org that citizens can use to submit suggestions."
The "Did You Know…" initiative is expected to be an ongoing project with a new season scheduled to launch each quarter.
