ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

One group who has a song topping the Gospel Billboard Charts is using their story as past homeless victims to raise money through a music tour which stopped in Baconton this weekend.

Immeasurable is on a "We Care Homeless" tour across the country and held a concert at St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

The group connected with the church for the concert to share their story about once being homeless to now recording artist.

Church members said the concert tour aligns with their outreach mission as a church.

"One of the things that we love to do is give back to our community. So when we heard their story that they were once homeless and that they have their own foundation organization where they give their proceeds back to their homeless, that touched our hearts here at St. James because we're always giving back as well," said Tracy Knighton, First Lady of St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

Currently their hit song 'He Loves Us' is number 27 on the Gospel Billboard Charts.

The Baltimore based group plans to release another single, later this week.
