DOUGHERTY CO., GA (WALB) - Albany Fire crews and Dougherty County Police have responded to a trailer fire at Creekside RV Park on Hancock Road Sunday evening.

According to Fire Battalion Chief James Ambrose, the call came in around 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

Ambrose said EMS took one man to the hospital with 35 percent burns on his body.

According to Ambrose, witnesses did report hearing a boom around the time of the fire.

Fire crews were expecting an arson investigator to arrive on scene.

Right now, the cause of the fire is undetermined, but the arson investigator and DCP will continue looking into what led to the blaze.

Ambrose said there are propane tanks around the scene.

The trailer was a total loss.
