ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Another new business has opened its doors in downtown Albany.
Renaissance Art Cafe is now serving the public.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in front of the building Friday morning.
The cafe will not be serving food or drinks, but instead serves up art classes and fun.
Cafe Owner Femi Anderson said the biggest reason she opened a shop was that people continued to say that she should have a space to display the artwork.
Anderson said she hopes the cafe will be a great addition to the expanding downtown.
"Well, we want to bring that part they've already started with, already having the brewery here and also having food restaurants move in," said Anderson. "So, we want to bring another aspect of art so that they will have something else to do."
Classes will last two hours for adults and either an hour or a half hour for kids.
