The Albany 8-U All Stars baseball team are Southaven bound after winning the Dizzy Dean South State championship.
This victory qualified them for the Dizzy Dean World Series in Southaven, Mississippi.
Now the all stars need the support of the community to help them get there.
Head coach Dan Hill said they want to raise as much money as possible to avoid as much out of pocket cost for the parents.
They will be running fundraisers such as 50/50 raffles and even a garage sale that the families will be donating.
Hill said that the kids have worked hard and deserve the chance.
"Well this is kind of a once in a lifetime opportunity for some of these kids." said Hill "To be able to actually participate in the World Series. We wouldn't be going if we didn't think we could win this. This is a really good team and the kids put a lot of hard work in it."
The All Stars will be leaving on the 15th and they will be there till the 20th.
