ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A recent sewage spill of 90,000 gallons into the Flint River is enough to halt the expected move of a kayak company to downtown Albany.
Kayak Attack's owner says he's is no longer opening a business downtown.
Josh Lorber said there was a timing issue, and the sewage spill finalized their need to back out of a lease.
Lorber said they will lose potential revenue, because they will not be able to sell their merchandise, or the smoothies they were going to, since they no longer have a store.
Lorber said they will have to wait until February to re-sign a lease, if the spill is cleaned up.
