ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The 18th Annual Phoebe Men's Health Week kicked off on Monday.
Cities all over the country take part in the event by conducting activities all week long to improve men's lives through better, healthier habits.
Phoebe is doing its part for the Albany community by hosting various events throughout the week, starting Wednesday at the Civic Center with "The Ties that Bind."
The event will provide young men the opportunity to eat lunch with members of the community, then will teach them how to tie a tie.
"This week marks the launch of National Men's Health Week," said Phoebe Representative Darell Sabbs. "So, it's being observed all over the country, it's an opportunity for us to remind men of healthy tips that they should consider to be healthy."
The week will kick off Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Civic Center.
