Wanted man arrested outside Albany club

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police said a man and a teen were taken into custody outside the Sandtrap Club 5.0 following a fight and shots being fired in the parking lot.

Police responded to the club on Radium Springs Road just before 1:45 Sunday morning.

Officers said they found a wanted man, Calvin Thompson, in a van in the parking lot.

Thompson is charged with making terroristic threats.

Police also said a 14-year-old boy was inside the van, in possession of a reportedly stolen, loaded handgun.

The boy was taken to a youth detention center.
