LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - 2 days down, one to go at the Trojan League 2018.

Lee County is hosting 14 schools for a basketball camp this weekend.

Coaches are making the most of the early offseason opportunities.

"I think its probably more fun for the coaches because we get a chance to jug at each other a little bit and you know we're still competitors," said Lee County head coach Kirven Davis.

It's a chance for them to try new strategies, lineups and plays.

"Some of those kids that have not played and gotten a lot of minutes in the past it gives them a chance to really play," said Andy Harden who just led Colquitt County to the sweet 16.

The reigning state champion Thomasville bulldogs were in the house this afternoon.

Benjamin Tillman is looking to replace the play of All-American Reggie Perry.

Rising seniors Titus wright and Vonterious Woolbright are the two he's leaning on.

"It's about leadership with them," said Tillman. "They need to understand they are the face of the team now. Everybody looking to them to carry them, so hopefully they'll step up to the challenge."

Play picks up Saturday afternoon at 1.

Games are being played at Lee county high, 9th grade campus and elementary school.
