MOULTRIE, GA (WALB)
A recycling center in Moultrie donated products to the local humane society to help deal with overcrowding.
Between the county and city, they donated about $160,000 each year to the humane society.
But, this time city officials wanted to help in other ways.
"We wanted to take the proceeds from recycling and do some good with them. And number one on our list was the Humane Society," said Moultrie City Manager Pete Dillard.
City employees also got together to donate cleaning supplies.
However, Dawn Blanton of the Humane Society said they still need your help to either donate or sponsor the animals.
