UPDATE: Thunderstorm watch moves away from SWGA counties

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The thunderstorm threat continues to diminish towards southeastern counties of Georgia.

Southwest Georgia is still currently under a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m. Saturday night.

Dougherty County is still under a state of emergency until Monday.

The National Weather Services has reported trees down in Colquitt, Cook, Lanier, and Lowndes counties.

Please use caution when traveling and do not drive through flooded areas.
