ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Pretoria Fields Brewery and Albany Technical College are teaming up to offer you five unique foods and a chance to help college students study abroad.

The Downtown Albany brewery will host an evening of "Flights and Bites" on Friday.

It's a beer inspired event that will help send Albany Tech students to Ireland.

General Manager Billy Mann said that supporting the community is a top priority for the business.

"It's important to us at Pretoria Fields just to support the community in general, and when Todd came to us with this opportunity to help these guys out and help these guys out and help these students get to Ireland, it was extremely important to us," said Mann.

Both Mann and Albany Tech's Department Chair and 2018 Georgia Grown Chef Todd White said that the event is aimed not only at helping students meet their goal but at supporting culinary arts in Albany as well.
