LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -

Lee County's ambulances have a new look.

The entire fleet is receiving new decals, using the same colors on the county's fire trucks.

Lee County's Co-manager Mike Sistrunk said the change will bring uniformity to the newly combined Fire and Emergency Services.

"Got several responses back from several citizens really impressed with the nice look of them. It makes them, which they are, very important to us. It makes them look professional. It is important to us that our guys look professional," said Sistrunk.

There are five ambulances total that will receive new decals.

It costs about $2,500 per truck.
