ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Students heard from executives of companies like Target just what it takes to get a job after graduation.

Albany Technical College hosted a career panel Thursday night. Business executives and employers came out to tell the students just what they look for when hiring people.

"They need to be confident when doing their interview. They don't have to have all of the experience in the world, but if they're willing to learn, to grow, they can possibly get a good job, and a career out of it," said Charon Prophet, with Executive Logistics Operations at Target.

The students were encouraged to ask questions during the panel and to take business cards from the executives after the panel.

The school plans to host panels, like the one Thursday, for all of the different majors.
