Routine Cordele traffic stop leads to discovery of weed, money and a gun

CORDELE, GA (WALB) - A Cordele police officer arrested a convicted felon after a routine traffic stop.

According to the Cordele Police Department's Facebook page, the 39-year-old male, whose identity has not been released, was driving without a seatbelt.

The officer who made the stop discovered the man was driving with a suspended license.

The officer also found marijuana, a large sum of cash and a weapon with a filed off serial number.
