Albany restaurant relocates to former Italian restaurant site

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany restaurant is making a move into a new location, in a well-known building.

According to agents with Needmore Properties, the owners of El Vaquero have bought the old Johnny Carino's building on Dawson Road.

The restaurant will move from its current location in the Westover Point Shopping Center.

Johnny Carino's closed in 2012, three months after Olive Garden opened its doors.

Renovations will begin immediately.
