TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Something defiantly worth celebrating as the ABAC Stallions have won the Conference Title and are two games away from punching their tickets to the Junior College World Series.

The Stallions were out today trying to clean off some of the water left over from today's storms before hosting the two-game series tomorrow against Walters State.

Last time the Stallions won the Conference title was back in 1993, and if the Stallions make it to the Junior College World Series, that will be the first time in the school's history.

Drew Martens says that the team is excited and proud to be representing their school for the chance to head to Colorado for the World Series, but they are going to take it one game at a time.

"I think it was huge for us to bring home just the conference championship, alone." said Sophomore pitcher, Drew Martens. "To have the possibility to head to Grand Junction to play in the World Series would be awesome for, not even just the baseball program, but just for the school in general, athletics. Just bring a bigger name to ABAC."

Stallions will host Walters State Wednesday for game one at 10 A.M.
