Showers taper off through the evening however there's more rain on the way

A weak disturbance continues to meander slowly north over the northeast Gulf. As a result deep tropical will push into SWGA with widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms the rest of the week. Rain heavy at times with a few rumbles of thunder. Expect rainfall amounts of 2-4".

With clouds and rain around steady temperatures but warm highs low-mid 80s and lows around 70.

For the weekend rain chances back off just a bit with mostly scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon while highs reach mid-upper 80s. Rain chances continue into early next week.
