ALBANY, GA (WALB) - One Albany church said it's following God's Plan to give back to the community.
Harvest Time Ministries hosted a community outreach Saturday.
They gave out free food, clothes, and of course, inspiration.
The church's senior pastor said he believes it's time to bring the workings of God back into the area.
"This is our community, and we believe that the only way that the community can change is if we put God in it," said Senior Pastor Orson Burton Jr. "And everything that we're doing is free. God's plan is to bless us so that we can bless others."
The church also held a grand opening for its coin laundromat at 1604 W. Broad, beside the church.
Church members said they hope it will become a place where people can clean their clothes in the presence of God.
