First Alert Forecast: Hotter Mother's Day Weekend

First Alert Forecast: Hotter Mother's Day Weekend

Hottest weekend so far this year.

Few changes as a rather benign weather pattern holds for Mother's Day Weekend. Mostly dry but much hotter as highs reach low-mid 90s and lows mid-upper 60s. It'll be the hottest weekend so far this year. A few passing showers are possible Sunday. However, early week an area of low pressure slowly lifts from the Gulf pushing abundant moisture into SWGA. Widespread rain and cooler 80s are likely Tuesday through Wednesday.  With a very moist and unstable airmass in place rain chances continue for the week.
