ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A well known question is often asked, what's better then one SIAC title? Two SIAC titles.

The Albany State Baseball and softball teams got the opportunity to do something they haven't accomplished since 2010.

the ASU Golden Rams completed that feat when the Rams Baseball team joined the Lady Rams after both teams took down the Kentucky State Thorobreds in the SIAC finals.

Lady Rams took down Kentucky State with a 4 - 3 victory in the 2nd meeting between the two.

Rams took an early 4 - 0 lead in game two and were able to hold off the Thorobreds advance later in the game to claim the title.

ASU softball stayed undefeated in the SIAC for the first time in the schools history and that title will never be beaten.

Lady Rams and the Rams baseball team both took the SIAC crowns for the first time since 2010.

"It's perfect, it's the best feeling ever." said 1st team All-Tournament, Riliani Familia. "I'm telling you it's the best feeling ever, when you winning, baseball is life."

"It's just, these guys are awesome." said MVP Tyler Morris, "They played so hard. The coaches, they worked so hard for this. The win today, it was huge. Probably was the most memorable championship I ever won."

The Albany State softball team will take on Palm Beach Atlantic on Thursday at 6pm in Palm Beach Florida.
