ALBANY, GA (WALB) - With Mother's Day around the corner, one Albany business wanted to get a head start on showing moms some appreciation.

The Clay Spot hosted Mom and Me Tea Sunday.

Moms, grandmothers, and children came out to paint teacups and plates.

This is the second annual Mom and Me Tea.

The Clay Spot owner said this event is growing every year.

"This is a Mother's Day event that we do," said Stacie Brown, owner of the Clay Spot. "We love our moms, moms are important and we love having families come and spend time being creative together here, so this is just a great opportunity for that."

The owner also said they will hold a similar event next month for fathers.

You can find out more information on the Dads and Donuts event on the Clay Spot Facebook Page.
