WORTH CO., GA (WALB) - Seven people went to the hospital after a two-car wreck at a busy Worth County intersection.
Troopers with the Georgia State Patrol said the wreck happened just before 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Highway 300 and Highway 32.
According to GSP, the driver of an SUV failed to yield at the stop sign and got hit by a van.
Five people in the SUV and two people in the van were taken to the hospital.
The driver of the SUV was airlifted to a Macon hospital with a collapsed lung and possible head injury.
The other people hurt were taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and Phoebe North.
