Kirstin Crook is leaving her legacy at Fitzgerald High School, and preparing to start another at Talladega College.
She was a 4-sport athlete, but is narrowing it down to basketball and track out in Alabama.
"I want to be a better player and person of course, but on another level I want to see how far I can take my game," said Crook at her signing Friday afternoon.
Crook led Fitzgerald basketball to its first ever region championship, and final four appearance.
That mixed with her infectious personality is why the room was packed at her college signing.
With a fresh coat of Purple Hurricane nail polish, Crook signed her Letter of Intent.
Fitzgerald's all-time leading scorer's influence transcended her work on the hardwood.
Crook has region championships in cheerleading and track to go with her two in basketball.
She'll be studying mass communications.
