VIDEO: 5 women face charges after gas station brawl

AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -

Five women have been charged after a fight inside a Flash Foods store in Americus.

The fight happened on May 2.

Video of the incident was posted on Snapchat.

According to Americus police, an officer saw several people leaving the Flash Foods and when the officer went inside, he found the store trashed.

A store employee told police it started after someone tried to buy some beer and the cashier asked for an ID.

The employee told the officer that one of the women arrested said, "I don't need no ID." She said the group stood outside for a long time and her sister came to the store.

The sister came to the store with a stick and she along with the employee got into a fight with the group of women.

All five women involved have been charged with disorderly conduct.

ARRESTED:

  • Qwanesha Whitehead, 24
  • Brittany Yvette Brown, 24
  • Lashawna Ann Simmons, 21
  • Crissy Karrell Hamilton, 17
