ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Sherwood Christian Academy celebrated it's soccer programs this morning.

The school held a send-off as both the boy's and girls teams will play for a GICAA Division 1 State title tomorrow in Peachtree City.

This is the 5th straight trip for the Lady Eagles who have 3 titles to show for it.

The boys have never won. Seniors from both squads are pumped for the trip.

"Its obviously been emotional since its my senior year," said Lara Katherine Todd of the Lady Eagles. "But its been so interesting to see the girls grow together, and we're such a family here so just to glorify God and honor God through it all has just been an amazing experience."

"We always talked about our family and how tight-knit we are as a school, but also as a team," said Will Alderman of the Eagles. "So its really cool to be a part of that and really feel the love of the family."

The girls play Young Americans Christian at 5:30 p.m.

The boys follow against Community Christian at 7:30 p.m. out at MOBA Soccer Academy.
