THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - More than four ounces of meth are off the street in Thomasville and drug squad agents attribute that to a tip that came in recently.
Narcotics agents said they arrested Raytorrie Newkirk on Wednesday at the Thomasville Inn off Highway 19.
Agents said they went in to serve a search warrant after receiving info that Newkirk was selling large amounts of meth there.
Agents confiscated more than four ounces of meth, ecstasy pills, marijuana and drug-related objects.
This is one of the many cases agents have worked recently within the city limits.
"Between the whole county, we are all over the place, there is a concentrated, in the city it's more concentrated because there are more people here in general so we do tend to make more cases in the city but we are all over," said Louis Schofill with the Thomas County Drug Squad.
More than $2,500 in cash was also seized.
Newkirk is charged with trafficking meth, possession of ecstasy with intent and possession of marijuana.
