VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - A Valdosta woman has been indicted on murder charges after her infant daughter died last year.
Ariel Kerbo, 24, was arrested in June after officials were called to her home where the child was found unresponsive. The girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
Court documents confirm, Kerbo was indicted on one count of felony murder and one count of cruelty to children in the first degree.
Kerbo also petitioned for to have $450,000 bond reduced.
That petition was denied.
Valdosta Police Chief Brian Childress told the Valdosta Daily Times that Kerbo was interviewed about the incident and her "story changed."
