ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The National Youth Sports program has offered a summer camp in south Georgia for over 4 decades and its that time of the year again.
NYSP returns to Albany State University from June 4th through the end of the month.
The Deadline to register is quickly approaching.
Kids from ages 9 through 15 are welcomed to sign up by parent orientation which is may 24th.
In order for kids to attend the camp, they must get a physical.

If they miss Saturday, they must get a physical on their own before the registration deadline on May 24th.
This year, the camp is expanding it's academic reach along with the fun athletic programs.
"We'll still have our basketball, we'll still have our volleyball, we'll still have our kick ball and we'll still have health and fitness, and tennis of course," said project administrator Robert Skinner. "We'll still be doing out athletic piece, but we are going to implement more academics, we are going to implement more technology."
