THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - The City of Roses' annual Rose Show and Festival has wrapped up.
The festival has been a Southwest Georgia tradition since the 1920s.
This year's festival kicked off Thursday with a rosebud parade.
More than a dozen other events followed between Friday and Saturday, including car and truck shows, fireworks and of course, a whole lot of flowers.
The first Rose Show began in Thomasville in 1922.
Some years later it grew into a festival.
