THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - The Thomasville - Thomas County Humane Society is taking part in the Rose Show and Festival.
You'll see a lot of furry friends in the festival, with hopes of finding a forever home.
The organization is hosting Bark in the Park, which they said is always a popular event.
The event includes contests for cutest costume, best trick, and owner/dog look-a-likes.
Humane society staff said they hope it helps find the furry friends their forever homes.
"So many pets that come in here," said Gail Roberts Executive Director. "They don't always end up in here, because there were in a ditch, but because people bought a pet and take them here. The good thing about the humane society is that we have a lot of variety."
The Bark in the Park event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Paradise Park.
