COFFEE CO., GA (WALB) - The Coffee County Sheriff's Office has two people in custody after a chase that lasted hours.
According to investigators, Jeremy Gaskins, 34, sped away from officers after a traffic stop near West Green this morning.
Gaskins led officers on a chase before jumping out of the car and running near Fire Line Road near the Jeff Davis County line.
Officers finally arrested Gaskins in a wooded area Wednesday afternoon. They said Gaskins was wanted on three felony probation warrants stemming from previous charges including the sale of methamphetamine and burglary.
Deputies also arrested Garrett Adams, 25, at the scene.
Adams is facing charges of obstructing law enforcement.
