THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - The city of Thomasville has continued to grow as the years have passed and with that growth has come some new traditions.
Thomasville will celebrate its first anniversary of the downtown Amphitheater during the Rose Show Festival.
The theater will serve as a focal point for community members to come and enjoy the festivities planned by city leaders.
Sitting in the heart of downtown, vendors varying from food, clothing and live bands will have the opportunity to showcase the gems that live within the city.
"This year, we're going to have a kissing llama and we're also going to have a real live unicorn. Kind of drawing in the children and the families into this space," said Main Street Director April Norton.
City leaders encourage families to come out and take advantage of the activities because there will be something for everyone to do.
