ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A downtown Albany business invited families to celebrate Earth Day Sunday.
Pretoria Fields Collective hosted an event where families got to do arts and crafts while enjoying a pint or two.
Organizers said they wanted to make sure kids around Albany know the purpose of Earth Day.
They said they also want to further their goal of offering a family atmosphere for all occasions.
"So we've got some Earth Day activities going on today. we've got some crafts. Just having a conversation with the kids about what Earth Day means and what they can do in a small way to make better choices to help our Earth," said Jennifer Harris, the Marketing, and Events Director at Pretoria Fields.
"I think that we should reduce, reuse, and recycle," said Marlie Addison, a participant at the event.
Organizers said today was a family-friendly environment.
