VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - A Georgia woman and an Illinois man came out on top in Valdosta on Sunday, qualifying to head to nationals for hot dog eating.
Wild Adventures hosted the Georgia state qualifier for the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, for the second time.
Dee Martin from Roopville, Georgia won for the female contest.
Matt Hazzard from Illinois won for the men's contest.
He ate 22 hot dogs in 10 minutes to take home the title.
Both will compete in the national event on July 4 at Coney Island in New York.
