TIFTON, GA (WALB) - A Tifton woman is dead and her suspected killer is in critical condition after a shooting on Tuesday.
According to our partners with "The Tifton Gazette," the Tift County Coroner Josh Hendrix pronounced Rachel Jordan, 48, dead at the Tift Regional Hospital on Tuesday.
The Gazette reported that Jordan was shot several times at her home on Old Brookfield Road. Authorities said the person they think shot her, Jack Price, is in critical condition at a hospital in Macon.
According to the Gazette, Hendrix said Price shot Jordan before turning the gun on himself.
