Dougherty high school put on a show for Shy'keria Williams and Jah'ne Brown on their signing days.
It was a returning of the favor, as Williams and Brown have done the same for them for the past 4 years.
Brown signed with Fort Valley State in front of loved ones and friends.
"My best friends, my sisters and my grandma always believed in me when I didn't believe in myself," said Brown. "They was there for me when I couldn't be there for myself and I just wanted to thank them."
Dougherty's senior class president and 1st-team all-region forward will be a drive away for Trojan nation.
They'll have to fly to see Williams.
The 2nd-team all-region forward will play at Southeastern Illinois which plays in the NJCAA.
Her first interaction with their head coach was at the Vereen Shootout in Moultrie this past winter.
"He let me know that he wanted me, so I gave it a chance," said Williams. "I had to think about it. Sometimes I doubted myself, but I still made that choice."
