ATLANTA (CBS46) -

On Monday the Atlanta Falcons players will adorn their helmets with a number 60 sticker to pay homage to star linebacker Tommy Nobis.

The team will be taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"You probably saw on the helmets today a decal with No. 60 for Tommy Nobis," said Falcons coach Dan Quinn to media after Saturday's practice. "You'll see that sticker on the helmets of the guys this weekend for this game."

Nobis passed away Tuesday evening at the age of 74.

He was the Falcon's first ever draft pick in 1966.

His number 60 jersey has not been worn by another player in the franchise's history.
