ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Miss Georgia's Alyssa Beasley toured Phoebe Putney Memorial hospital Thursday.

Beasley spent time in the Emergency Department, NICU and pediatric unit.

She also spent time with one very special patient who has learned to paint with her mouth.

"I very much enjoyed it. I think it's great to try to experience something that Hannah experiences and try to take a different walk of life. I think that's one of the best things I've been able to do as Miss Georgia, is be able to see people who experience different things through their life," said Beasley.

Phoebe is a part of the Children's Miracle Network Hospital.

That's the official charity of the Miss America Organization.

Beasley's personal platform is 'Rise Up...Impact Through the Arts.'
