Some Albany State University students have started the school year off staying in hotels instead of dorms.

A statement from ASU on Wednesday said that on-campus housing was at full capacity at the start of the school year.

ASU said it worked with local hotels to offer temporary off-campus housing for some students.

On Monday, the university found space for the students, and the process of moving them into on-campus housing should be done by the end of the week.
