ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Easter Seals celebrated a huge milestone on Tuesday.
The organization finally raised the funding it needed for its Megan's House project, which will serve children with special needs in South Georgia.
The Atlanta Foundation agreed to match funding, once Easter Seals raised $100,00.
Tuesday morning officials said they got a donation for $70,000, putting them over their mark.
This will allow them to open the doors, debt free.
"We are just so excited and grateful for the many many donors in this community, from here in Albany, and Lee County, and all the surrounding counties that have made this dream become a reality," said Beth English.
Beth English said they will still need help with funding for playground equipment, furniture and fencing.
