ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany code enforcement has issued a warning after a lawn service company was caught dumping yard debris into someone else's dumpster.

Judy Bowles with Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful wants to remind people that if you are not paying for the dumpster, then it's illegal to dump debris there.

Employees removed tree limbs from the dumpster.

The dumpster belonged to a business inside the Village Green Shopping Center.

Commissioner BJ Fletcher said she just happened to be passing by at the time.

"If you're are caught blowing your debris into the street, not picking it up or putting it in the sewers, I'm gonna do everything I can to get this commission to implement a very hefty fine," said Fletcher.

Code enforcement issued a citation and the company will appear before a judge.
