FBI joins search for Savannah bank robber

SAVANNAH, GA (WALB) -

On Tuesday, July 25, the Wells Fargo Bank, on Abercorn Street in Savannah was robbed by a man with a handgun, but that wasn't the only time he did it.

With his finger on the trigger, he pointed his pistol at bank tellers.

Two weeks later, the same bank was robbed by the same man, with a dark semi-auto handgun.  This time, the robber jumped on top of the teller counter and brandished a second handgun. 

In both cases, he ran off with cash.

The robber is described as being a black male, late teens or early 20’s in age, 5' 7" to 5' 8" in height, slender build, wearing a hat, partial facial cover, and blue latex gloves.  He was armed with a black semi-auto handgun.

A combined reward of up to $15,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this criminal.
